All of my new counselling relationships begin with an initial contract of 12 sessions, during which we can work with any issues you’d like to bring. Towards the end of these sessions we will discuss together whether you have gotten what you came for, or if feel you would like a further 6 or 12 sessions, or an open- ended contract.

Getting here:

My current space is located at N16 7NX.

If coming by bus, there is a bus stop on Brooke Road named “Stoke Newington High Street (Stop U)” 30 metres away, which is served by buses 393, 476 and 73.

Alternatively there is a bus stop on Stoke Newington High Street, approximately 60 metres away, which is served by the 67, 76, 149, 243 and the 276. This stop is called “Brooke Road (Stop S)”.

The nearest train station is Rectory Road, which is 300 metres away, and the second nearest is Stoke Newington Station, which is 400 metres away. Both are on the Weaver line.

The space:

The counselling room is on the first floor. There are 20 stairs to the first floor, with a strong handrail. There is the possibility to rest half way up the stairs. There is currently no lift.

A waiting area is available outside our counselling room, with a chair, table, and water.

You are welcome to move around the room, and/or move the furniture to make the space more comfortable if you’d like to. There are sensory and fidget objects, blankets, floor cushions and other soft furnishings available.

No perfumes or air fresheners are used in the counselling room, and the lighting is soft (and can be made less bright if needed).

There is an all-genders and more spacious toilet on the ground floor which includes a grab rail, and a smaller all-genders toilet between the first and second floors.

Service animals:

Registered service animals are very welcome in our sessions. Unfortunately unregistered service animals, support animals and pets cannot come to the sessions.
